1) Taiji gong (Part 1)
Sitting preparation
Explanation
a) Sitting in a half lotus, elevate yourself approximately 15 degrees by sitting on pillow or using
your shoes turned in towards each other. This aids in keeping your pelvis tilted forward and
makes the long periods of sitting much more comfortable.
b) Straighten your back, think of each back vertebra being a gold coin stacked upon each other.
Relax the shoulders, elbows and wrists. Place your hands with palms facing upwards on the
inside of the knees where they rest comfortably.
c) Suspend your head and body from Bai hui and tuck the chin inwards to open the meridians in
your neck, place the tongue on the roof of your mouth and breath deeply into your Dantian.
d) Lift the perineum and focus on activating Ren mai 1 and Du mai 1 connection. Focus and
activation Lao gong (PC8) and Bai hui (Du 20 )points to connect and absorb Heaven’s Qi .Let
Heaven’s Qi go straight to your Dantian and use this quiet time to rejuvenate your energies.
